Welcome
Welcome to my new blog! I’ve attempted to maintain a website over the past 9 years and have learned that I dislike maintaining websites…I just want it to work. I’ve used Wordpress on my own website and have even created my own themes. All of that was fun, but also very time consuming. Once I got everything set up and running, I had lost all will to actually continue using it. While I’d love to take the time to create my own ideal user experience on my own site, I find that I don’t have the time to create and maintain.
I want something that works out of the box and something that doesn’t require me to tweak every corner of the UI. I’ve started this blog using the Tumblr blogging service and find that it’s very easy-to-use and intuitive. I’ll give this a try for a while and see how it goes. I will focus on my work as a user experience designer and post my own personal work here. Enjoy!
